ESGLibrary (ESGL) stands for Environmental, Social, Governance and Leadership Library. We decided to include "L" in the "ESGL" as we believe Sustainability cannot be achieved without Responsible Leadership.
ESGL is your meta resource, curating reliable, recent, and historical content from across the internet and social media. We connect professionals and organizations with impactful insights to help them make informed decisions in pursuit of the 4Ps: Purpose, People, Planet, and Prosperity (including Profit).
As collaborators in ESG, Sustainability, and Responsible Leadership, we believe sustainability is not about competition - it is about collaboration. This ethos defines our platform and is our unique strength.

Meet the People Behind ESGLibrary
Our philosophy is simple - to foster creativity, innovation and teamwork. Each one has a role to play and by listening to each other and working in full coordination, we have been able to bring to you our "dream" project "ESGLibrary".
Nusrate Ibrahim, ESGL's founder and strategist is a global citizen, born in Mozambique, brought up in Portugal, studied Economics and Chartered Certified Accountancy in the UK, worked for 13 years in the UK for organizations such as British Airways Plc, National Grid Plc and Monitor, before moving to the UAE in 2010. She obtained a certificate in ESG Investing with the CFA Institute in December 2021 and completed the 18-month Sustainability program by the A4S Academy, graduating in December 2023.
Basma is a sustainability enthusiast who graduated with in Environmental Science, specializing in Environmental Biology and Ecosystems, from the American University of Sharjah. At ESGLibrary, she assists with research, content writing, and connecting with ESG brands to promote ESGL.
